Our focus is on the IT market where we serve many local and international clients. We have offices in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf and our growth has accelerated over the recent years. We have a clear strategy to continue our growth in the future. In order to grow in a scalable way and have clear insights in our financial performance, key risks, and opportunities we are now looking for a Finance Manager.

The Finance manager will be based in Düsseldorf and report to our CFO based in The Netherlands. In this role you will be responsible for all financial and legal matters for Cluster and The Nextgen Gmbh. In the day-to-day work you will be supported by our “support employee” and an  external bookkeeping / payroll / tax organization. In the future we expect to growth our the team and inhouse the bookkeeping activities done by our administration office.

What will you be doing:

  • Set-up complete finance organization
  • Select & implement ERP system (Hour registration, bookkeeping, invoicing, cost control, bonus calculations)
  • Prepare timely and accurate month-end closing (resulting in financial reports: P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statements)
  • Create standardized internal processes that result in a scalable organization and prepare for future growth
  • Implement internal controls (related to payments, salaries, Invoicing & costs)
  • Be the gatekeeper for answering legal and / or contract related questions and when needed outsource to external lawyers.


Who we are looking for:

  • You have an academic degree in Financial accounting and/or business administration
  • At least 5 year of relevant working experience
  • Combination of the ability to think about the long term (tactical and strategic) impact as well as being hands-on in the daily operations.
  • Ready for your second or third step in your career as end responsible for the complete financial organization
  • Working experience in recruitment / contracting (hours registration and invoicing) would be a strong plus)
  • Experienced in managing large and impactful projects within time and reaching all goals
  • Good understanding of German and English language.
