As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in a large-scale cloud transformation within an innovative software organization operating in the healthcare technology sector.

The company has successfully launched its software platform internationally and is now investing heavily in the transition from a traditional on-premises environment to a scalable AWS-based SaaS platform. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and cloud architecture.

You will join a growing engineering team and help build the cloud foundation that will support the next generation of products. This is not a software development role. Instead, you will focus on AWS infrastructure, deployment, automation, cloud operations, and platform engineering.

The environment offers a unique combination of hands-on engineering and long-term architectural impact. Today, the focus is on building and stabilizing the AWS foundation. Tomorrow, the platform will evolve into a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS environment.

Wat ga je doen

• Designing, building, and improving AWS cloud infrastructure
• Migrating critical on-premises systems to AWS
• Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Supporting containerization initiatives and future Kubernetes adoption
• Collaborating with architects, software engineers, and cloud specialists
• Improving platform security, scalability, and reliability
• Helping shape the transition toward a cloud-native SaaS platform
• Contributing to platform standards, best practices, and automation initiatives

Wie ben jij

• Approximately 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong hands-on AWS knowledge
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization and CI/CD
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Fluent in English

• Salary up to approximately €85,000 per year including a 13th-month bonus
• 32-40 hours per week, 4x9 possible
