For an international, fully remote organization, we are looking for a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer who gets energy from cloud, Linux, automation, and managing a platform with millions of daily users.

You will be part of a small, highly technical team responsible for the entire platform: from data centers to cloud integrations and from CI/CD to security. The landscape is hybrid and high-scale: central data centers for storage and control, combined with cloud environments in Azure and AWS for flexibility and growth.

The organization has grown rapidly in recent years. During that growth, many services have been split up, modernized, and containerized. Now the focus is on further professionalization, integration, and security-by-design.

You will work closely with developers, operations, and finance, and will have plenty of scope to make and substantiate technical choices.

What will you be working on?

• Designing, managing, and improving hybrid cloud and data center infrastructure
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Working with and optimizing Kubernetes environments (cloud & on-prem)
• Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Integrating private cloud, Azure, and AWS into a single central architecture
• Supporting and advising development teams on infrastructure and platform choices.

The organization operates worldwide, has no office in the Netherlands, and is completely remote-first. Occasionally, there will be consultations or visits to a data center or international location, but flexibility is paramount.

Security, compliance, and responsibility towards users are the highest priorities here. Technology plays a crucial role in this.
