About the Role

As a Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will take ownership of complex enterprise infrastructure environments supporting global business operations.

This is a hands-on role where you manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure platforms, combining project delivery with operational excellence. You will be involved in everything from infrastructure upgrades and platform optimisation to troubleshooting, vendor management and supporting business-critical environments.

The organisation operates within a high-performance international environment where infrastructure reliability is essential. You will work closely with both business and technology teams, leading projects end-to-end while maintaining operational stability.

This role offers a high degree of autonomy. Nobody dictates how you structure your work, you are trusted to deliver results.

Wat ga je doen

• Manage and maintain enterprise VMware and Windows infrastructure environments
• Lead local and remote infrastructure projects from design through delivery
• Administer and optimise NetApp storage environments
• Support and maintain business-critical server and application infrastructure
• Manage upgrades, patching and lifecycle activities across infrastructure platforms
• Coordinate vendors and third-party service providers
• Provide 3rd line support and assist across broader infrastructure operations when required
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues
• Ensure operational stability, monitoring and change management processes are followed
• Support global office and data centre infrastructure when required

Who are you?

• Experience in Enterprise infrastructure or Systems Administration
• Strong VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter experience (v7/v8 preferred)
• Experience with vSphere upgrades, clustering, HA/DRS and troubleshooting
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
• Based in the Netherlands
